The Repetetive Periphere Magnet-stimulation opens up completely new possibilities for innovative solutions in physical therapy:

Pain Therapy · Muscel training · Rehabilitation

The treatment opens up completely new dimensions for the non-medicinal and entirely painless therapy without any side effects for your patients suffering from a wide variety of different conditions of pain of the locomotor system and of the muscles! A totally new device concept!

What is rPMS ?
(repetitive peripheral magnet stimulation)

The rPMS is an innovative, non-invasive method of stimulation. It is based on the application of a classic physical principle: according to Faraday‘s law of magnetic induction, a current flows in a conductive medium as a reaction to changes in a magnetic field.

In doing so, the motor and sensory end branches of the mixed muscle nerve are de-polarised by a series of magnetic field impulses, leading, amongst other effects, to a clinically observable muscle contraction which activates mechanoreceptors. This in turn causes an adequate proprioceptive flow to the CNS as an indirect consequence of peripheral stimulation.

Indication and applications

The rPMS – not to be mistaken for magnetic field devices or mats – is a non-drug  therapy which is absolutely painless and without any side effects. According to Faradays’ law of magnetic induction, a current flows  inside the body as a reaction to changes in a magnetic field outside the body. This effect is used to generate impulses which, in turn, result in muscle contractions. If these contractions occur in a recurrent rhythm of tension and relaxation, hardened muscles are relaxed, trained and strengthened. This is particularly effective for untrained or poorly trained muscles. The impulses act solely through the nerve paths and stimulate the central nervous system, relaxing blockages and allowing movements previously inhibited by pain. After the first treatment session you’ll already feel the pleasant and relaxing effect of the noticeable muscle contractions, often accompanied by significant pain relief and enhanced mobility.

Talk to your doctor or therapist and describe in detail the occurrence and duration of the pain or blockage episodes. He will accurately adjust the Magnet Stimulation and give you precise details on the type of treatment and its duration.

Clinical studies have shown that 5 to 10 applications lasting between 15 and 20 minutes each are normally sufficient to achieve a significant therapeutic success.

Private health insurers and grant-in-aid institutions pay for the treatment with rPMS. The statutory health insurance funds pay only after a decision on the individual case has been taken.
